WHAT YOU'LL DOOperate Class A tractor-trailers to transport freight, general commodities, and specialized cargo.Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report defects, accidents, or violations promptly.Load, secure, and inspect cargo; follow special handling procedures for hazmat or temperature-sensitive freight.Maintain accurate HOS logs and all required DOT/FMCSA documentation.Verify bills of lading, collect signatures/receipts, and ensure all paperwork is complete and correct.Plan routes and schedules to meet pickup and delivery windows.Perform basic vehicle maintenance (fluids, minor repairs); keep trailer clean and ready. REQUIREMENTSValid Class A CDL required.HazMat endorsement preferred not required.High School Diploma or GED.TWIC card preferred not required.Must pass and maintain all DOT/FMCSA physical requirements.
