Assignment Details Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Requirements - New York State (NYS) license - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification - 2 years of experience required - IV experience required - NIHSS certification - 6 continuing education hours (CEUs) on Stroke related topic prior to start Roles & Responsibilities - Provide direct patient care in a Med Surg/Tele environment. - Monitor patient conditions and interpret telemetry strips. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care. - Float to different units as needed based on staffing requirements. - Participate in patient education and discharge planning. Compliance / Notes - Facility has the right to cancel up to 3 shifts at no cost during the duration of the assignment. - Travel experience preferred.
