What You'll Do Work EMR-generated follow-up tasks (ex: return to clinic) Schedule follow-up appointments only Run insurance eligibility and confirm active coverage Ensure referrals are secured and documented Assist with prior authorization coordination Manage reminder system to reduce no-shows Refill canceled appointments quickly Respond to administrative message pools Print, fax, and mail patient letters or summaries You are responsible for protecting provider schedules and keeping follow-up care organized.
