Job Description About This Role: Citizens of the World is seeking a Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide direct services, assessments, and support to students with speech and language needs. The SLP plays a critical role in ensuring students access their educational program fully and effectively, in collaboration with school teams and families. Key Responsibilities: Deliver speech-language therapy using a variety of models and approaches Conduct screenings, formal assessments, and write comprehensive evaluation reports Develop and implement IEP goals and service plans aligned to students' needs Track and document student progress toward IEP goals Collaborate with educators to support classroom integration of communication strategies Participate in IEP meetings and engage with families about student progress Maintain accurate and timely records in Welligent or other required systems Contribute to the regional Special Education team and special projects as needed Travel between school sites as assigned Core Competencies: Cultural Responsiveness: Demonstrates a strong commitment to equity and celebrate the diverse backgrounds of our students and communities. Professional Excellence: Possess deep knowledge of speech-language services and stay current on best practices and compliance standards.
