Job Description

Legal Billing Coordinator LHH is in search of a Legal Billing Coordinator for a direct hire position in Chicago, IL. You must have five years of legal billing experience. Strong Microsoft Excel skills are required and experience with 3E billing system is preferred. This person will be responsible for billing balances; handling checks and balances for manager invoicing and following up on invoices and processing and reconciling payments received. Position Type: Direct Hire Salary range: $90k-$100k Hybrid (3 days onsite) Location: Chicago Loop Responsibilities: Prepare adjustment report and check requests for accounting department Produce bills by organizing billing rotations Reviewing or recommending billing amounts based on historical billings and current engagement amounts Process and verify expense claims Provides routine weekly, semi-monthly, monthly, and ad hoc reports Balance accounts receivable and claim overpayment accounts Determines participant end date and process all direct bill correspondence Research and resolved any billing discrepancies Updates AR and WIP reserves as directed Perform other billing and clerical duties assigned Requirements: Bachelor's degree preferred but not required Five years of Legal Billing Experience Experience with 3E preferred Experience with e-billing sites is preferred Good understanding of Microsoft Excel Possesses good communication and customer service skills Research and problem resolution skills Strong time management skills, finance, documentation, and reporting skills Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
