Our manufacturing client is looking for electro-mechanical assemblers. Temp-to-Perm opportunity. Pay Rate: $17.50 - $20.00 / per hour (based on exp). Schedule: Mon-Fri, 7 am - 3:30 pm Location: Waterbury, CT Job Summary: The candidate will work as an Assembler responsible for assembling electro-mechanical products using various technical documents like drawings, engineering prints and method sheets. They will prepare sub-assemblies and final assemblies while ensuring product quality meets specifications and standards. What you will do: • Assemble individual electro-mechanical components as required • Manual holding, or control of components required during operation • Work also may be washed in solution, pressure tested, or repaired by hand • Work from drawings, blueprints, sketches, verbal or written instruction, work orders, process sheets • Execute material handling procedures for work order processing and inventory floor stock maintenance • Obtain parts and materials as instructed or as necessary or required to execute material handling procedures • Prepare finished work for shipment or storage as instructed or required. • Perform alignment or adjustments. Manually using various type special hand tools. • Responsible for product quality and quantity - work must be inspected before, during, and after completion. • Report defects, scrap, and/or production problems immediately to the Cell Leader and/or Supervisor • Maintain records and other pertinent data as instructed or required • Follow all safety regulations • Maintain area in a clean and orderly condition Skill Requirements Electro-mechanical assembly experience. Ability to read Blueprints . Experience with Material Handling Procedures . Proficiency in using Hand Tools . Education/Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 1-2 years manufacturing experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Versatility required to perform many and varied other assembly and soldering operations manually Must have reasonable dexterity in hands to manipulate small parts Ability to read blueprints Pay Details: $17.50 to $20.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
