Accela Healthcare is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Manager to oversee payroll operations across our growing network of skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely payroll processing while maintaining compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and comfortable managing payroll in a fast-paced, multi-facility healthcare environment. Why Join Accela Healthcare Collaborative and supportive corporate team environment Opportunity to work with a growing healthcare organization Competitive compensation and benefits package Meaningful work supporting teams who provide essential care to residents Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee the full-cycle payroll process for multiple facilities and corporate employees Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, including wages, bonuses, and adjustments Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws Review payroll reports, reconcile discrepancies, and resolve payroll-related issues Oversee payroll tax filings and ensure timely submission of required reports Maintain payroll records and ensure data integrity within payroll systems Collaborate with HR on employee data changes including new hires, terminations, and benefit deductions Respond to employee payroll inquiries in a professional and timely manner Support audits and provide payroll documentation when required Identify opportunities to streamline payroll processes and improve efficiency Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred 3+ years of payroll management or payroll leadership experience Experience managing payroll in a multi-site organization preferred Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, wage and hour laws, and payroll tax compliance Experience with payroll systems and HRIS platforms Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage deadlines and handle confidential information with discretion Equal Opportunity Employer Accela Healthcare is an equal opportunity employer committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
