Position: Driver Location: Naval Base Kitsap and surrounding Silverdale, WA area Type, FLSA Status: Full-Time (short-term, March 2026) / Non-Exempt Summary/General Description Of Job: The Driver operates rental vehicles utilizing public roads and highways and throughout the Navl Base Kitsap (NBK) military base. Essential Duties & Job Functions: Drives vehicles of C-Class capacity on short runs, throughout Naval Base Kitsap and on public roads and highways to a Client-down yard parking facility. Drive rental vehicles from the Client-down yard to Rental Vehicle Agency locations. Ensure vehicle is not loaded beyond capacity. Operates vehicle safely, completes trip tickets, and preventive maintenance service records, and fills out driver's accident report in case of accident. Performs driver's maintenance in accordance with established rules and regulations. May occasionally drive various types and sizes of rental vehicles if qualified and licensed, when required by the workload. Performs related duties as assigned. Performs other related duties as assigned. May perform work in other classifications when incidental work is necessary to the accomplishment of the work assignment. ccountable For: The proper use of tools and equipment commonly used in the driving field. Completing all mandated training requirements by government and management directives. Timely and cost effective performance of duties. Timely completion and accuracy of all departmental work. Dealing with a variety of people in a professional, courteous manner in diversified situations. Adherence to established company safety policies and good industrial and office safety practices. Compliance with company Standard Operating Procedures and Personnel policies and procedures. Having the ability to work well under pressure. Job Requirements (Experience & Qualifications): Mandatory Two years driving experience in C-Class capacity vehicle with a safe driving record. Must possess a valid US State or Territory Class C Driver's License at minimum. A valid US State or Territory Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License is preferred. Must meet and maintain company physical and security background check requirements, and Naval Base Kitsap Access eligibility as required by Company and US Naval Base Kitsap. Must possess good communication skills for work in a Service Team environment. Must be a US Citizen. Compensation Details: Wages -$30.00 per hour, 60-hour week standard, time-and-a-half for Overtime Paid weekly, Check to Bank direct deposit. Local Hotel accommodation, Per Diem for meals ($68.00 per day, GSA rate for seven days) only if qualified by current Home-of-Record location is more than 50 miles from Naval Base Kitsap.
