Position Overview: The Content Development Specialist is responsible for designing, developing and implementing comprehensive training content throughout the organization. This role plays a critical part in creating training content that is interactive, engaging and fully compliant with company policies and regulatory agencies. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and committed to developing effective training solutions within a composites focused environment. Key Responsibilities:Training Development (70%) Build, test, and maintain interactive and engaging training content using a variety of eLearning tools such as Articulate Storyline 360 and TechSmith Camtasia. Produce and edit multimedia content and other visual assets including graphics, videos, audio and simulations to enhance learner engagement. Work closely with the Training Manager, Training Specialists and SMEs to ensure content development is prioritized, meets the company standards and is of the highest quality. Convert existing documents such as SOPs into interactive eLearning format. Partner with SMEs and Training Specialists to gather technical information and transform it into effective training solutions LMS Administration & Support (20%)Upload, test and manage SCORM and xAPI compliant courses within the companies Learning Management System (LMS). Manage all aspects of LMS administration, including adding and removing users, creating and retiring content, scheduling and managing instructor led sessions, generating reports, troubleshooting system issues, and staying current with LMS updates and enhancements. Provide user support for login difficulties, assisting with access issues and resolving problems as needed. Employee Training (10%)Participate in cross training with Training Specialists to ensure alignment on learning objectives, content accuracy, and instructional approach and provide training support to employees as needed. Ensure that all required trainings are delivered and documented in compliance with internal policies and external regulations (e.g. AS9100, ITAR). Performs other duties as assigned. What You Will Bring to the Team:Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree. 2+ years' experience in training content development or hands-on training in a production environment with a strong technical aptitude. Proficiency in content development tools such as Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, or Adobe Suite. Strong interpersonal and communication skills across all levels of the organization. Team player, ready and able to jump in and assist where needed. Strong desire to learn and grow. Must be a U.S. Citizen or lawful Permanent Resident in compliance with ITAR regulations. Preferred Qualifications:Hands-On experience in composite laminating or technical productions processes. Experience with LMS platforms. Bilingual in Spanish.
