Job Summary As a school behavior technician, your role will involve supporting educators by working directly with students facing behavioral challenges in a classroom setting. You may work one-on-one with a student in a mainstream class or provide support to multiple students in a specialized setting designed to meet their specific educational needs. Your student caseload will encompass grades K-12, and behavioral challenges may vary from mild to severe. You'll deliver tailored interventions and support as outlined in each student's Individual Education Plan (IEP) or 504 plan. Key responsibilities include: Helping students develop effective behavior management skills to enhance their learning experience. Creating and maintaining a positive and engaging learning environment for all students. Assisting students in achieving their behavioral and academic goals through positive reinforcement and clear boundaries. Monitoring and documenting students' progress towards their IEP/504 plan objectives, collaborating closely with teachers and administrators. We seek a flexible and compassionate RBT who enjoys working with a diverse group of students and educators.
