Details Cardiac Cath Lab setting within an acute care hospital system Procedures include coronary stenting, PTCA, atherectomies, peripheral angioplasty, carotid/iliac/renal angiograms, vascular and interventional radiology studies, and triple lumen catheter placement 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM On-call required; no weekend shifts Late stays may be required to complete cases if the lab is still running May float to a nearby sister hospital Requirements Minimum 2 years of recent, full-time invasive cardiovascular technology experience BLS and ACLS certifications required; must be AHA-issued Active Michigan license required if applicable High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a health or science field preferred Graduation from an accredited Invasive Cardiovascular Technology program preferred EP experience preferred Additional Information Assist physicians in performing complex and invasive cardiac catheterization procedures Perform lab administrative duties and supply inventory management Online orientation modules must be completed onsite (typically one week prior to start) with a passing score COVID vaccination is mandatory No blocked scheduling All RTO requests should be submitted prior to assignment start; requests made after offer acceptance will be reviewed with management once the assignment begins First-time travelers will not be considered for this position American Traveler Job ID #P-681218.
