As the Director of Technology Project Management, you will take on a vital role in spearheading strategic planning, resource allocation, and budgeting alongside the Finance team, while also ensuring thorough tracking of key initiatives. Your leadership will facilitate effective communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, driving successful executions of global programs. In this crucial position, you will offer thought leadership and a clear vision that steers our global business and IT process owners towards ongoing improvement, establishing governance and best practices in program and project management. Your expertise will be key in transforming infrastructure projects related to Enterprise, Cloud, and Cybersecurity, ensuring alignment with our organizational priorities and risk management strategies. This role reports to the VP of Technology Project Management and offers a flexible hybrid work schedule (2 days in office, 3 days remote). Our office is located at [Insert precise work address]. Key Responsibilities: Create and deliver impactful presentations for executives, senior leaders, and customers. Drive AI adoption in collaboration with GIS for various programs and projects. Develop and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess progress effectively. Collaborate closely with IT executives to formulate annual PMO plans, encompassing resources, costs, and tactical strategies. Work alongside IT teams to define metrics and reporting for the portfolio of programs. Maintain a security-first approach in all initiatives, balancing customer experience with organizational risk. Strategic Program Management: Lead GIS Project Managers in monitoring progress across multiple GIS projects and adjust strategies as needed. Take responsibility for managing and coordinating information security projects. Ensure successful delivery and execution of GIS programs throughout their entire lifecycle. Nurture strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including subject matter experts. Collaborate with application owners to enhance application-based security measures. Leverage other IT functions to efficiently acquire reporting and information. Resource Management: Partner with functional leaders to ensure optimal resource availability and allocation for projects. Assist in developing compelling business cases in conjunction with relevant leaders. Manage ClickTime data tracking and create insightful reports as needed. Demand and Intake: Guarantee GIS representation in the PMO Demand and Intake process. Utilize best practices and lessons learned to craft actionable roadmaps for GIS program enhancement. Training and Coaching: Champion best practices in change management to enhance program success and quality. Lead the Center of Excellence for Project Managers, focusing on best practices and AI tool implementation. Ensure comprehensive training is provided to end-users for all programs when necessary. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Experience: Proven experience managing PMOs and PM Centers of Excellence. 10+ years of progressive experience in IT Program Management and change management. 3+ years of experience in transforming Enterprise Infrastructure, Cloud Infrastructure, and Security Infrastructure. 3+ years of experience in a shared services model or managed services environment. Possess an entrepreneurial mindset and a proactive management approach. Ability to operate independently and take accountability for outcomes. Preferred Experience: Project Management Professional (PMP), SAFe, or Lean Six Sigma certification preferred. Demonstrated capability in creatively solving problems. Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices. Experience managing projects throughout their full lifecycle. Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills; highly resourceful. Proven ability to complete projects within scope, budget, and timelines.
