Job Details Available Shifts: Sunday: 8:00am - 4:30pm, Wednesday & Friday: 1:30pm - 10:00pm CST The Pharmacy Technician - Central Fill will work under the guidance of the Lead Pharmacy Technician and will be integral to our daily operations, which include the fulfillment of prescriptions and the maintenance of our Optifill 1 automated systems. Key responsibilities include: Operating the Optifill 1 automated fulfillment equipment to ensure high efficiency in pharmacy operations. Accurately fulfilling prescriptions and managing the printing and capping of pharmacy vial labels. Handling the fulfillment and assembly of canisters with designated drugs as per set guidelines. Conducting scheduled maintenance and cleaning of pharmacy equipment to uphold operational standards. Restocking drugs and supplies essential for both automated and manual fulfillment stations. Assisting in troubleshooting and repairing canisters in collaboration with the engineering team. Building new canisters for drug dispensation within our automated system. Supporting the Inventory Coordinator in managing incoming wholesale drug orders and adhering to storage standards. Performing other related duties as needed to ensure smooth pharmacy operation. This role requires technical vocational training or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Candidates must hold a current and unrestricted state license as a Pharmacy Technician as mandated by law. Preferred qualifications include: At least one to two years of relevant experience in a Retail or Hospital pharmacy setting. A strong commitment to customer service and attention to detail. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. Strong analytical, mathematical, and computer skills. Capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and efficiency under pressure.
