We partner with business leaders to assess user needs and continuously improve our applications. We are excited to introduce a new opportunity for an AI Innovation Lead / Product Owner. In this visionary role, you will lead the strategic development and deployment of AI-powered solutions within the Workday ecosystem. This position combines product ownership, innovation leadership, and stakeholder collaboration to create intelligent workflows that transform the business landscape. Ideally, you will possess a player/coach mindset, leveraging your developer experience for peer reviews while fostering technical skills within your team. Key Responsibilities Define AI Strategy: Craft and articulate a clear roadmap for AI enhancements within Workday, focusing on Illuminate, Extend, and Orchestrate. Lead Product Development: Take ownership of the AI features lifecycle—from ideation and prioritization through to delivery and continuous enhancement. Drive Innovation: Promote experimentation with generative AI, intelligent workflows, and automation across HR, Finance, and Operations. Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with business leaders, developers, and end users to collect feedback, validate solutions, and ensure alignment with enterprise objectives. Governance & Ethics: Advocate for responsible AI practices, emphasizing transparency, bias reduction, and regulatory compliance. Enablement & Adoption: Create comprehensive training, documentation, and change management plans to boost AI knowledge and utilization throughout the organization. Measure Impact: Establish KPIs and metrics for all AI initiatives and report on adoption rates, return on investment, and business outcomes. Desired Qualifications Solid foundation in Workday, including experience with Extend apps, REST APIs, and event-based integrations. Functional understanding of HCM, Security, Business Process Framework (BPF), Reporting, and Workday governance. Experience implementing AI agents in enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, or Microsoft. Understanding of AI/Automation & Agent models, including lifecycle management and data-driven automation triggers. Proficient in API & Integration skills, including experience with REST/SOAP APIs and Workday Public APIs. Knowledge of enterprise architecture and secure agent design. Experience coordinating vendor and third-party integrations related to APIs and compliance. Expectations for this Role Apply advanced technical knowledge to effectively manage complex projects. Compensation and Benefits The anticipated salary range for this position is $123,400 - $176,300. This role is also bonus eligible.
