Department/Unit: General Surgery/Trauma-B3 Work Shift: Night (United States of America) Salary Range: $83,200.00 - $93,184.00 Welcome to the B3 General Surgery and Trauma Unit! Our unit features 36 private patient rooms and serves individuals recovering from trauma, orthopedic procedures, ENT, thoracic surgery, plastics, and bariatric surgeries. Why Join Our Team? Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including: Attending Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Residents, and Fellows Patient Care Associates and Health Unit Coordinators Rapid Response / Code Blue Team Clinical Support/PICC Team Wound Ostomy Team Physical/Occupational Therapy Case Management/Social Work for efficient discharge planning Pharmacy Epidemiology Pastoral Care Patient Relations Access various resources, including continuing education, tuition reimbursement, and certification assistance. Job Responsibilities: Implement physician orders; administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, procedures, and special tests; document treatment per company policy and regulations. Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patients' conditions effectively. Assess and evaluate patient needs and responses to nursing care. Utilize sound nursing judgment for patient care management decisions. Administer primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses. Provide over-the-counter and prescription medications as ordered. Collaborate with the nursing team to develop comprehensive Plans of Care for all patients.
