We are currently seeking a PRN Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dynamic team at Somerset Court of Mocksville & Mocksville Senior Living, a leading Senior Living Community located in Mocksville, NC! Why Join Us? Setting: Senior Living Schedule: Monday-Friday. No Weekend or Holidays! Qualifications The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) plays a crucial role in providing a comprehensive range of services. Your responsibilities will include: Assessing patients to identify speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders through clinical assessments, standardized tests, and patient interviews. Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans tailored to each patient's unique needs and goals. Providing therapy to enhance patients' communication skills and abilities related to swallowing and feeding. Educating patients and their families about disorders, therapy techniques, and strategies for progress. Maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements. Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to patient care. Other duties as assigned. Licenses and Certifications: Must hold a current state SLP licensure. CCC-SLP certification from ASHA is preferred. Current CPR certification is preferred. Education: Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program. Experience: 0-1 years.
