Overview: Join Primo Brands, a leading branded beverage company in North America dedicated to promoting healthy hydration. Factory Location: Breinigsville, PA (Allentown - West) Compensation: $40.37 per hour, with a $0.50 increase at 90 days and another $0.50 increase at 180 days (contingent on successful reviews). Sign-on Bonus: $5,000 after 60 days of employment. Shift Differential: 6%-8% of the base hourly rate for applicable hours worked. Schedule: Night shifts on a 2/2/3 rotation from 5:00 pm to 5:00 am, with availability to work holidays and weekends as required. Responsibilities: Assist operators in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing equipment. Understand and adhere to all SOPs for mechanic and operator positions. Familiarize yourself with operating equipment, including running parameters and set points. Execute work orders, including special projects, rebuilds, and installations as needed. Work promptly to repair equipment and ensure swift line start-up. Develop knowledge of basic maintenance principles. Carry out intermediate electrical troubleshooting. Perform PMs during planned stoppages with emphasis on project work, tagging, and standard procedure creation. Collaborate with vendors for equipment startup, improvement, and modifications. Train operators on equipment standards and technical processes. Analyze equipment losses and develop strategies to minimize downtime on the highest loss machine per line. Qualifications: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience; additional technical training or certifications preferred. A minimum of three years’ maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting. Completion of the Mechanical Aptitude Test is required for consideration. Preferred experience with high-and low-pressure compressors, chillers, water treatment, and boilers. Strong understanding of compressed air systems, electrical systems, hydraulics, and water processing. Familiarity with bottling equipment, PM programs, and SAP systems is a plus. Electrical knowledge of single and three-phase power, including diagnosing and replacing electric motors. Ability to independently manage projects with minimal supervision. Capability to foster teamwork and effectively communicate with operators, technicians, and supervisors. Proficient in interpreting and analyzing computer-generated reports and completing tasks accurately. Physical ability to conduct inspections requiring climbing, reaching, and lifting overhead. Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs as necessary. Proficiency in reading mechanical drawings, schematics, and OEM technical prints. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office proficiency. Able to cover all shifts and respond to call-ins to support production needs. Collaborate with the Safety department to maintain a zero-injury workplace. Maintain a positive attitude and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. Strong English language skills are essential for effective communication with teammates and customers, enabling exceptional service delivery and collaboration.
