Patients suffering from mitral and tricuspid heart valve disease frequently face intricate conditions with limited treatment options. Our Transcatheter Mitral and Tricuspid Therapies (TMTT) business unit is passionately advancing an innovative range of technologies aimed at addressing unmet clinical needs. As a Clinical Imaging Manager, you will be pivotal in analyzing diverse imaging modalities to support our case planning team within the Transcatheter Mitral & Tricuspid Therapies (TMTT) US commercial team. This role is essential for enhancing the case planning efforts related to the SAPIEN M3 Transcatheter Mitral Valve Replacement Therapy for optimal procedural outcomes. This position is available for remote candidates in the US, with occasional travel required for training and department meetings at the corporate office in Irvine, CA. Your Impact: Conduct detailed analysis of 3D Computed Tomography reconstructions for case planning, assessing measurement suitability for anatomical implant placements, and delivering comprehensive imaging reports. Perform advanced CT reconstructions to support case planning beyond the field team's capabilities to enhance patient outcomes. Track the case planning process across various technical platforms, collaborating closely with analysts, field teams, sales operations, IT, and external stakeholders. Train field teams and healthcare providers on imaging modality acquisition and interpretation, guiding effective execution of case planning strategies. Input case planning measurements into CRM software accurately. Identify gaps in the CT acquisition process and make recommendations for improvements. Develop and design training materials for stakeholders on imaging analysis. Assist with quality assurance processes and implement improvement strategies for team members. Engage in knowledge transfer sessions with field teams to review complex cases and identify process optimizations. What You’ll Need (Required): Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in a related field, or equivalent experience as per Edwards criteria. A minimum of 8 years of clinical echocardiographic experience required. Certification in relevant imaging modality (e.g., ARRT, RDCS or RCS) is preferred. Willingness to travel up to 10%. What We Prefer (Preferred): In-depth knowledge of imaging equipment operation (e.g., 2D or 3D TTE/TEE/ICE, CT, MRI, etc.). Strong understanding of cardiovascular imaging principles and concepts. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Experience with imaging analysis software (e.g., TomTec, Xcelera, 3Mensio, Vitrea, Circle VI) is highly desirable. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to effectively guide and instruct imaging specialists in clinical settings. Strong diplomacy, influencing, and relationship management skills. Demonstrated ability in problem-solving, critical thinking, and attention to detail. Ability to foster teamwork and collaboration among inter-departmental teams, healthcare providers, and key opinion leaders. Knowledge of Edwards Environmental Health and Safety and Quality guidelines. Commitment to adhering to company policies, including safety protocols and COVID-19 requirements when applicable. We are committed to offering competitive salaries, performance incentives, and a variety of benefit programs to meet the diverse needs of our employees and their families. For California applicants, the base salary range for this position is $125,000 to $176,000, based on experience.
