We invite you to be a part of this journey. The AWS Solutions Architect team collaborates with businesses to design and implement scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures. By working alongside AWS Sales and other teams, we tackle customer business challenges and facilitate the adoption of AWS services. As a trusted advisor, you will guide organizations in best practices for advanced cloud solutions and provide strategies for migrating workloads to the cloud. Your expertise will lead to successful business outcomes across various enterprise customers by educating, training, and creating cloud solutions. This role presents an exciting opportunity to shape and execute strategies to promote broad adoption of AWS services within enterprise customers, leveraging AWS resources and our vast partner network. Key Responsibilities Effectively communicate with both business and technical stakeholders as a trusted advisor. Engage in in-depth architectural discussions to develop top-tier solutions on AWS, ensuring successful cloud deployment. Contribute to AWS customer-facing publications, such as whitepapers and proof of concepts. Collaborate with the sales team to create and implement robust sales strategies aimed at exceeding revenue targets. Build strong relationships with business and technical leaders within customer organizations to empower them as cloud advocates. Share best-practice insights with the AWS solutions architect community. The role requires minimal travel, about 15-20%, primarily regional. Basic Qualifications 8+ years of experience in technology domain areas such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data & analytics. 3+ years experience in the design, implementation, or consulting of applications and infrastructures. 10+ years in IT development or consulting within the software or Internet industries. Preferred Qualifications 5+ years in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking roles. Experience engaging with end-user or developer communities. Demonstrated experience as a technical leader in the Financial Services Industry. The base salary range for this position varies by location: USA, CA, San Francisco - 176,600.00 - 239,000.00 USD annually; USA, MA, Boston - 153,600.00 - 207,800.00 USD annually; USA, NY, New York - 169,000.00 - 228,600.00 USD annually; USA, TX, Austin - 153,600.00 - 207,800.00 USD annually; USA, VA, Arlington - 153,600.00 - 207,800.00 USD annually. Compensation includes sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs) as part of a comprehensive benefits package.
