A healthcare facility in Pittsford, NY is seeking a skilled X-ray Imaging Technician for a contract position, offering a structured Monday through Friday daytime schedule. This role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures primarily using Carestream equipment across various patient settings, including emergency, inpatient, outpatient, and operating room environments. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (8-hour shifts) 40 hours per week Four on-call shifts per month, 8 hours each Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years recent X-ray experience in a hospital setting Proficient in taking x-rays for emergency department, inpatient, and outpatient cases, including chest, abdomen, and extremities Experience using Carestream imaging systems and OEC equipment in the operating room Ability to perform portable x-rays on hospital units ARRT certification required Non-U.S. candidates must have at least 2 years of U.S. work experience Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility Responsibilities: Conduct diagnostic imaging exams as ordered by physicians across multiple care settings Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently while ensuring patient comfort and safety Collaborate with healthcare teams to support patient diagnosis and treatment planning Maintain accurate records and adherence to hospital protocols This contract opportunity is ideal for an experienced radiologic technologist seeking a consistent schedule and the chance to work with advanced imaging technology.
