In this influential leadership role, you will ensure our mission of supporting conservation leaders is reinforced by robust systems, strategic partnerships, and measurable impact. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement innovative strategies to effectively engage conservation leaders. Design and optimize tools for engagement while managing a network of technical assistance providers. Oversee program strategy and operations, providing leadership for our external communications. The Ideal Candidate: Possesses a minimum of 8 years of progressive leadership experience in nonprofit management, philanthropy, or capacity building. Has a strong track record in building and sustaining multi-stakeholder networks. Demonstrates exceptional operational leadership skills and the ability to turn sector needs into actionable programs. Possesses high emotional intelligence and excellent communication skills. Has a profound understanding of the challenges faced by conservation nonprofits and Tribes. Experience with grant-funded initiatives and a deep respect for the conservation community are crucial. This is a grant-funded position with a specific duration, with the potential for extension based on future funding and organizational requirements. The Director will operate in a remote, distributed environment, enjoying a high level of autonomy with minimal travel demands.
