About the Position Regularly meet with team members to discuss professional development and ensure clear communication regarding departmental and organizational goals. Develop and share best practices across your team and other functions to enhance efficiency. Research and adhere to billing industry compliance standards. Ensure team members are trained in all relevant aspects of their deliverables. Implement succession planning to promote skill redundancy within the team. Monitor and report on key performance indicators to maintain alignment with organizational goals. Oversee daily operations and staff productivity within the team. Manage staff attendance and professional development initiatives. Maintain thorough knowledge and compliance with relevant regulations. Prepare daily reports according to internal and client requirements. Collaborate with clients and other departments to address questions and concerns to meet goals. Keep the Director informed about significant issues, production variations, compliance matters, and opportunities. Assist in creating systems and processes to improve operational efficiency. Conduct training sessions as needed to enhance staff skills in customer relations and problem resolution. Uphold standard productivity and accuracy benchmarks. Perform other assigned duties as necessary. Minimum Requirements: At least 5 years of experience in commercial medical claims billing, patient accounting, insurance contracts, and EOBs. Bachelor's degree or higher is preferred. General knowledge of medical coding best practices and billing procedures. 3-5 years of management experience in a hospital business office overseeing billing, patient access, and insurance follow-up. Experience in managing a multifunctional team. Thorough understanding of patient financial services reporting and KPIs. Required experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial billing. Central Business Office (CBO) experience is mandatory. Proficient in PC usage, data entry, spreadsheets, and word processing. Able to manage financial records and prepare routine reports effectively. Capable of performing quick and accurate mathematical calculations. Demonstrated leadership with a drive to challenge the status quo while maintaining relationships. Strong interpersonal skills and team-building capabilities. A goal-oriented approach with a commitment to continuous performance improvement. Excellent analytical skills. Ability to work autonomously with minimal direction. Preferred Requirements: Certification in Revenue Cycle Management (CRCR) or equivalent. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST Compensation: $95,000 - $110,000 annually Position Type: Full Time
