The role involves providing expert care in a 30-bed inpatient unit dedicated to patients with malignant hematologic conditions. The unit is recognized for advanced treatments, including stem cell transplants and CAR-T therapy infusions, alongside participation in various research protocols. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Current RN licensure with a minimum of 1 year of experience in Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) nursing. Certified Oncology Nurse Society (ONS) Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider card required. Strong knowledge of infusion therapy procedures and patient care related to hematologic malignancies. Ability to handle complex clinical situations and administer specialized treatments. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to high-quality patient care. Responsibilities: Deliver direct nursing care to patients undergoing stem cell transplants, CAR-T infusions, and chemotherapy treatments. Administer and monitor chemotherapy and biotherapy treatments safely per protocol. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, pharmacists, and research staff. Ensure strict adherence to safety guidelines and infection control practices. Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.
