Position Summary As a Medical Laboratory Technologist, you will play a crucial role in conducting laboratory tests to assist physicians in diagnosing, preventing, and treating diseases. Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments. Adhere to safety regulations and laboratory protocols. Perform high-complexity testing and notify nursing/physician of critical lab values. Conduct instrument maintenance and troubleshooting. Train new employees and handle quality control as outlined by procedures. Maintain a positive attitude while managing multiple responsibilities independently. Position Requirements BS degree in Medical Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent. Valid State of Tennessee Medical Technologist license.
