Job Details Position: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Long-Term Care (LTC) / Travel RN Location: Penn Yan, NY 14527 (Finger Lakes region) - New York travel RN job Employment Type: Travel Contract (On-Site) Start Date: March 10, 2026 End Date: June 13, 2026 Contract Length: 14 weeks Hours per Week: 40 Shift Duration: 8-hour shifts (evening/night rotations as needed) Schedule: Full-time, 5x8s; shifts scheduled as needed, including weekends and holidays Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,800 - $1,890 Openings: 1 Travel RN - LTC Required Qualifications Active New York State RN license (required) BLS certification (AHA or RQI only, required) Minimum 1 year RN experience in a Long-Term Care (LTC) or skilled nursing facility (required) Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and medication administration skills (med pass experience preferred) Ability to work every weekend and holidays as scheduled Comfortable with occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens as reasonably anticipated in the LTC setting Key Responsibilities Provide direct and indirect skilled nursing care to adult and geriatric residents in accordance with facility policies and LTC standards Perform safe, accurate medication administration (med pass/cart) and thorough documentation Assess residents' physical and psychosocial condition; collect and communicate clinical data to supervisors and the interdisciplinary team Develop, revise, and implement individualized, age-appropriate, and culturally sensitive plans of care Collaborate with residents, families, and the healthcare team to promote resident safety, quality outcomes, and person-centered care Maintain current nursing competency through continuing education and facility in-services Participate in mentoring, orientation, and precepting of staff as needed Why Join Us Work in a supportive skilled nursing environment focused on quality long-term care and geriatric nursing Experience life in the scenic Finger Lakes region-Penn Yan, NY offers lakeside recreation and a welcoming community Competitive travel RN pay with a defined 14-week contract Apply today to become a Travel RN in Long-Term Care.
