Heavy Equipment Yard Technician

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Heavy Equipment Yard Technician to contribute to our rental department by ensuring the safe operation and maintenance of heavy equipment. Skills & Qualifications: Strong mechanical aptitude, analytical skills, and organizational abilities. Familiarity with company policies, procedures, and maintenance of heavy construction/farm equipment. Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain a high sense of urgency while ensuring project integrity and credibility. Experience overseeing the loading and unloading of heavy equipment. Commitment to keeping the equipment yard clean and organized. Professional appearance suited for the position. Willingness to perform additional duties as required. Education & Experience: High School Diploma or GED is required. Proficient in reading and writing English. Two or more years of experience in heavy construction equipment is preferred. Forklift certification or the ability to complete a certification course. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, squat, bend, or sit for prolonged periods. Capability to lift up to 75 pounds as needed. Must pass a WorkSteps exam (fit for duty) and a pre-employment drug screening.
