Responsibilities As a Registered Nurse (RN), your role will encompass the delivery and oversight of patient care, involving nursing assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provide direct care to infants, children, and adolescents primarily in their homes as per the active care plan established by physicians. Follow physician orders while complying with state, federal, and national regulations under the guidance of clinical supervision staff. Perform thorough patient assessments. Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed. Document clear and accurate clinical notes in alignment with the care plan. Inform the RN Case Manager regarding any notable changes in the patient's condition. Educate patients and their families about diagnoses, treatments, and preventive measures. Collaborate with other health professionals to ensure the best possible care for patients. Implement proper infection control procedures and prioritize safety measures. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and standards. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education and Experience Requirements: Current State Registered Nursing License or compact license as applicable. Minimum of one (1) year of home health experience. At least one (1) year of pediatric experience. Current CPR Certification required. Reliable transportation for office and home visits. Other Qualifications and Skills: Reliable transportation to travel between the office and patients' homes is essential. Physical Demands/Working Environment: Role involves regular bending, reaching, standing, and sitting. Ability to push and pull 50 pounds (to position patients, move equipment, etc.). Support and lift weights up to 50 pounds (patient transfer, etc.) and assist with heavier weights. Capable of carrying equipment and supplies as needed. Visual acuity for monitoring information within close range (e.g., monitors, screens). Reasonable accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
