Collaborate with a diverse group of scientists, engineers, and nutritionists on critical aspects of product design, development, quality, nutrition, sensory experience, and food safety, enhancing the joy of our consumers. This 12-week internship offers you the chance to immerse yourself in areas such as Research, Product Development, Process Development, Quality, and Consumer Science. Research - Engage in innovative projects aimed at enhancing technologies to drive future developments. Product Development - Design new products or enhance current offerings, focusing on sustainability and Mindful Snacking. Process Development - Develop efficient methods for converting raw materials into finished products while optimizing processes. Consumer Science - Contribute insights from sensory and consumer research to inform product design. Quality - Participate in initiatives that ensure the consistency and safety of our products. As an intern in Mondelz International's R&D team, you'll rapidly develop skills through hands-on experiences, working on meaningful projects that impact the business. Your overall performance will be evaluated based on functional skills, project management, and personal leadership. Requirements and Preferred Qualifications Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Engineering, Food Science, Nutrition, or related fields. Undergraduate candidates should have a graduation date between December 2026 and May 2028. Familiarity with Statistical Analysis tools (MiniTab, JMP, SAS, or similar). Proficient with analytical and computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Applicants must have work authorization in the US that does not require future sponsorship. Bonus Skills Experience with digital tools such as Python, R, PowerBI, Tableau, and SQL. Knowledge of Modeling & Simulation techniques including Computational Fluid Dynamics and Artificial Intelligence. Compensation The expected weekly pay range for interns is $940 - $1,300, depending on your anticipated graduation date. Compensation rates for Summer Interns are fixed and non-negotiable.
