The Chief Clinical Officer will oversee and develop Clinical Directors within the assigned market while also maintaining direct involvement in patient care as a Primary Care Provider (PCP). This role is essential for ensuring the achievement of center performance objectives, financial growth, and a positive workplace culture. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage clinical outcomes and daily operations of multiple centers, maintaining a strong presence in the facilities. Achieve and exceed market earnings and clinical operation goals. Mentor and support Clinical Directors and healthcare providers to ensure exceptional clinical outcomes. Facilitate the professional development of physicians and clinical staff, executing leadership plans and performance evaluations. Foster a culture aligned with ChenMed's core values and service standards. Assist with training new clinical staff to uphold our mission and values. Participate in recruiting efforts for healthcare professionals, including PCPs and specialists. Build and maintain relationships with payers, specialists, and community partners to enhance service delivery. Monitor market culture, addressing workplace concerns with urgency. Review center-level referrals and approve market utilization authorizations. Additional Responsibilities: Assist the Regional President with quality and performance improvement initiatives. Evaluate monthly clinical performance metrics and provide analyses as needed. Train and share expertise with other ChenMed entities. Develop strong relationships with key providers and stakeholders within the market. Drive clinical strategies based on local market dynamics. Deliver care as a PCP, contributing to outstanding clinical outcomes (20% of time). Qualifications: MD or DO in a relevant specialty (e.g., Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics). A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience required; 3 years preferred. Preferred experience as a Medical Director with a Medicare or Medicaid population. Board eligibility required; Board Certification preferred. Active medical license in the State of employment. Experience in population risk management or chronic disease care management. Capacity for leadership within interdisciplinary teams. Flexibility to travel locally and regionally up to 30% of the time. Compensation & Benefits: The salary range for this position is $238,832 - $341,189.
