About the Role: As a Senior Product Manager in the Kafka Connect team, you will be integral to building the world’s premier data streaming platform. Your role will focus on driving the Enterprise feature portfolio and ensuring seamless integration between Kafka and key external systems. You will also enable support for both on-premise deployments and managed services in Confluent Cloud. Utilizing AI/ML capabilities will be encouraged in your feature development. Your collaboration with the field on GTM initiatives will help shape customer success. What You Will Do: You will have ownership of a significant product initiative, from conception and customer engagement to growth strategy. You will serve as a vital resource for your product, facilitating necessary collaboration among engineering, design, sales, and marketing to ensure appropriate decisions, product development, and market success. What You Will Bring: 8+ years of experience as a software product manager, ideally in an Enterprise technical product environment. A deep understanding of enterprise customers and a passion for solving their challenges through software, with a willingness to be hands-on. The ability to develop a product strategy and roadmap in collaboration with customers, engineering, design, and go-to-market teams. Exceptional communication skills, including the capacity to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Strong technical expertise, especially in distributed data systems, public and private clouds, and stream processing. Experience with modern integration platforms is a plus. Familiarity with Enterprise software features, such as security, networking, and observability, is desirable. An MBA is a valuable asset.
