Learning and Development Manager The Learning and Development Manager will lead the creation and implementation of effective learning strategies, training content, and application tools for both new hires and experienced customer-facing representatives in North America. In close partnership with the Product Squads and Customer AGMs, you will be responsible for developing a strategic training plan and a tailored learning journey for Customer Squads according to their specific roles and customer needs. Your role will prioritize transforming our training strategy to support the ongoing evolution towards collaborative co-creation, innovative data and consultancy solutions, and a sharper focus on segmented offerings. Working closely with the Dynamic Squad Lead and the Customer AGMs, you will ensure the consistent application of our Competency Model across the relevant stakeholders. YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee the creation and implementation of a comprehensive strategic training plan for all Customer Squads, including tailored training for new and existing customer-facing representatives. Develop training strategies that support our business transformation towards enhanced collaboration and innovation in our offerings. Drive the effective deployment of the Competency Model to key stakeholders within the Customer Squads. Serve as a subject matter expert in instructional design and training delivery, applying principles of adult learning and blended approaches. Design, facilitate, and assess knowledge and competencies acquired through training, collaborating on the outcomes of training initiatives. Enhance existing training curricula by integrating specific, measurable learning objectives and anticipated outcomes. Lead the development of program curricula for product launches and pilot initiatives, working alongside marketing efforts. Provide personalized coaching to customer-facing Squad members to hone their presentation, value articulation, and related skills. Conduct field observations of customer-facing Squad members, collaborating with Squad AGMs to refine training insights and competencies. WHO YOU ARE Bayer is seeking candidates with the following qualifications: Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing, or a related field with experience in adult learning and sales training. Demonstrated familiarity with Bayer's Radiology business and its medical device, software, and service portfolio, as well as insight into consulting and data-oriented business models. A strong understanding of clinical workflows and the Radiology ecosystem. The ability to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Leadership abilities coupled with sound business acumen and financial knowledge. Excellent communication and presentation skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities. Robust analytical skills with a focus on product promotion and customer relationship management. Proven project management experience with a track record of effective prioritization and execution. Strong customer focus and a commitment to achieving results. Preferred Qualifications: More than 8 years of industry experience. Experience in sales, strategic account management, or customer relationship management is highly preferred. A solid understanding of Bayer's Strategic Account Management competency model is advantageous. Employees can expect a salary ranging from $109,400 to $164,200, with potential bonuses or commissions where applicable.
