Job Summary and Qualifications As a Computed Tomography Technologist (CT Tech), your duties will include performing CT scans and x-rays in accordance with professional standards to assist in diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities include: Demonstrating knowledge of human anatomy and patient care protocols. Verifying orders and following protocols for each examination. Administering contrast materials using appropriate techniques. Entering charges accurately and correlating patient histories with procedures. Managing patient flow to prioritize and efficiently conduct exams. Schedule: Friday-Sunday, 0700-1930 Qualifications Required: One year of experience as a Radiology Technologist in an acute care setting. Preferred: One year of experience performing CT procedures. Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Completed coursework in computed tomography and cross-sectional anatomy. Current Medical Radiologic Technologist certification with Texas Medical Board. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Certified in Radiology and CT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
