Guide lower-graded Correctional Officers in their duties. Maintain institution security and promote the health and welfare of inmates. Enforce facility rules and regulations, ensuring inmate accountability and conduct. Ensure judicial sanctions are upheld and that inmates remain in custody. May be required to carry firearms and use physical force when necessary to maintain control. Adapt to emergency situations and heavy workloads, including working irregular hours, weekends, and holidays. Utilize provided operational procedures and internal communication for effective job performance.
