Key Responsibilities: Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring every customer feels welcome and appreciated. Maintain professionalism, positivity, and effective communication about the company both in person and on social media. Administer immunizations to customers according to established protocols. Complete clinical services efficiently based on case load. Dispense medications accurately and ethically in accordance with prescriptions and regulatory guidelines. Compound medications using standardized procedures. Thoroughly review prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness of medication. Verify all medications against patient profiles to prevent any drug interactions. Oversee the work of Pharmacy Technicians and Interns, ensuring the accuracy of prescriptions. Assist in promoting pharmacy initiatives in collaboration with the Pharmacy Manager. Ensure appropriate inventory levels and manage recalls as necessary. Stay informed about promotional activities and seasonal offerings. Adhere to state and federal laws regarding licensing and operational protocols. Implement procedures for quality assurance and the security of controlled substances. Be proactive in preventing and reporting incidents such as theft or fraud. Support preventative maintenance through proper equipment inspection and repair. Comply with safety procedures, identifying and correcting unsafe conditions. Promptly report any customer or employee accidents to management. Be flexible and adjust your schedule to cover open shifts as needed. Communicate ongoing special programs and relevant information to department members. Act in accordance with company policies and collective agreements. Follow all local, state, and federal laws, including HIPAA and DEA regulations. Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve organizational goals. Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Qualifications: Minimum: Must be a licensed Pharmacist in good standing. Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD required. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional planning and organizational abilities. High attention to detail and accuracy is essential. Valid driver’s license and independent travel capability. Desired: Management experience is a plus. Previous pharmacy experience preferred. Experience in a retail environment is advantageous. Compensation: $66.22 - $68.97 per hour.
