What It Takes To Be A Part Of The Team The Back of House Supervisor holds a crucial leadership position, supporting the management team in all back-of-house functions. This role is responsible for maintaining kitchen excellence by ensuring that food quality, consistency, and sanitation standards are consistently upheld. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assisting in supervising and scheduling kitchen staff Enforcing all company policies, procedures, and food safety guidelines Supporting management in controlling food costs, waste, labor, and overall kitchen efficiency Monitoring cleanliness and sanitation to maintain a safe and organized workspace Training, developing, and motivating kitchen team members Ensuring each dish adheres to Anthony's standards for taste, quality, and presentation Upholding speed and accuracy during high-volume service to provide an exceptional guest experience Responsibilities Lead and support the back-of-house team through busy shifts; energize the crew, resolve challenges, and ensure seamless kitchen operations in collaboration with management Oversee all aspects of food execution, including quality, consistency, food safety, and cost control Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and handle team conflicts with professionalism and fairness Maintain flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed We offer hands-on training, opportunities for advancement, and a supportive team environment. Dishwasher positions typically start as part-time, with the potential to transition into full-time roles. Full-time employees are eligible for health benefits. Prior experience in roles such as Kitchen Manager, BOH Manager, Kitchen Supervisor, Shift Lead, or Crew Lead is highly desirable.
