Become a Key Contributor to Health and Wellness! As a Specialist Pharmacy Technician for Clinical Programs, you will be an essential member of our healthcare team, dedicated to supporting both Pharmacists and patients. Your role will focus on implementing innovative programs aimed at improving health outcomes related to prescription medications and therapy management. You will engage in various tasks that include moderately complex administrative and operational duties, making significant contributions to our mission. In this position, you will assist in optimizing medication use for patients taking multiple prescriptions. Through clear communication, you will foster health awareness for patients using Rx Education and targeted quarterly initiatives. Additionally, you will work closely with Pharmacists to confirm medication adherence by engaging in outbound and inbound calls, offering necessary counseling. You will be responsible for: Conducting effective outbound and inbound calls. Communicating clearly with Humana members. Collecting essential medication history information. Preparing members for comprehensive medication reviews. Your Expertise Can Make a Difference! We are excited to offer a $1,500 sign-on bonus! (50% upon hiring and 50% after 180 days of employment; eligibility requires continued employment!) Required Qualifications: Active Resident State Pharmacy Technician License OR National Pharmacy Technician Certification High School Diploma or equivalent Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal Understanding of insurance processing and customer service or call center practices Reliable high-speed hardwired internet and phone, with a minimum speed of 20Mbps Designated workspace with a locking door Schedule: Flexibility to work hours between 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM EST, including holidays, weekends, and possible overtime. Punctuality and professional attire are essential during training and required meetings. Attendance is critical for success; time off during the 180-day review period is not permitted. However, you will receive paid time off for Humana-observed holidays occurring during training or within this period. Preferred Qualifications: Associate's degree or equivalent experience Experience in mail order and/or retail pharmacy environments Fluency in both English and Spanish Previous call center experience in a pharmacy setting Strong telephonic and communication skills Effective problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset Able to work independently as well as in a team Positive, energetic, and self-motivated attitude Highly productive work ethic Referral Bonus Program: Associates may earn bonuses for referring external candidates to this position, provided all eligibility requirements are met. Travel: This position is remote; however, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required. Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Compensation: The estimated starting base pay ranges from $40,000 to $52,300 per year, depending on geographical location and individual qualifications.
