As a Vendor Relationship Manager (VRM), you will be pivotal in driving success for our key vendors within the Payer Retrieval HIH Team. Your expertise will ensure seamless communication, effective project management, and the delivery of outstanding results. Key Responsibilities: Act as the main point of contact for our most significant vendors, facilitating meetings and communications to foster strong relationships. Lead vendor meetings focused on inventory status, ensuring all parties are aligned on priorities, goals, and performance expectations. Analyze dashboards and inventory data to provide accurate forecasts, establish priorities, identify potential risks, and recommend strategies for achieving client objectives. Manage day-to-day vendor relations, juggling multiple projects and deadlines while addressing escalations as they arise. Monitor project pacing and identify areas requiring adjustments to maintain timely delivery. Support project tracking and communicate results to leadership and team members effectively. Regularly assess vendor performance, reporting trends and concerns, and providing updates to leadership. Drive process improvement by refining current practices and documenting new procedures through standard operating procedures (SOPs). Oversee payment reconciliation with vendors, ensuring accuracy and timely processing through Accounts Payable. Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure all project files are prepared and delivered promptly to vendors. Maintain accountability for department KPIs related to inventory management, actively managing all inventory to meet performance standards. Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field is preferred. 2-5 years of experience in Healthcare Technology, Medical Records, or Health Information management. Experience in account management or operations within a healthcare services company or health plan is highly desirable. Insight into Risk Adjustment and Health IT industry practices. Strong understanding of project management principles and frameworks. Proven ability to problem-solve, make decisions, and meet deadlines. Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, enabling effective presentations of data. Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, capable of anticipating vendor needs. Motivated team player with a keen eye for detail and a professional demeanor. Preferred Qualifications: Project Management coursework or PMP Certification. Familiarity with SQL.
