About the Role We're seeking a versatile marketing professional to lead growth initiatives across the entire customer journey, from initial contact to long-term retention and expansion. This role is a blend of lifecycle marketing, growth experimentation, and content development aimed at helping users realize the value of Datavant and deepen their engagement over time. You will collaborate closely with Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Customer Experience, and Product teams to design cohesive, insight-driven programs that guide prospects and clients through their journey. Although you will not directly manage demand generation channels, your support through impactful messaging, engaging content, and strategic initiatives will enhance acquisition efforts and boost activation rates. This is a dynamic, hands-on position ideal for a marketer who enjoys dissecting customer behavior, creating compelling content, and conducting experiments that yield measurable results. Key Responsibilities Lifecycle & Customer Marketing Design and oversee lifecycle programs across email and in-app channels, including onboarding, activation campaigns, education series, newsletters, product updates, and advocacy outreach. Create nurture flows for upsell and expansion that align with customer goals, usage data, and product adoption trends. Work with Customer Experience and Sales teams to develop communications aimed at boosting engagement, retention, and growth. Assist with strategic programs such as the Customer Advisory Board and follow-up communications for events. Growth Support & Cross-Funnel Optimization Partner with Demand Generation on funnel initiatives by providing messaging, content, and experiment designs. Produce conversion-focused landing page content, nurture emails, and campaign assets that enhance acquisition and activation performance. Execute lifecycle and early-journey experiments that drive user activation and product adoption. Deliver insights and performance data that inform targeting, segmentation, and overarching campaign strategy. Content Development Create and adapt content that fosters both growth and customer engagement: landing pages, nurture emails, newsletters, product updates, blog posts, case studies, and customer success stories. Ensure consistency in messaging and storytelling across all acquisition and lifecycle touchpoints while collaborating with Product Marketing when necessary. Help establish repeatable content frameworks that bolster both awareness and retention initiatives. Analytics & Optimization Evaluate the effectiveness of lifecycle programs and growth experiments, utilizing insights to refine campaigns and identify new opportunities. Examine user behavior, activation trends, and engagement metrics to shape lifecycle strategies. Share performance reports, learnings, and recommendations with cross-functional teams. What You Bring 4-6 years of experience in growth, lifecycle, or full-funnel B2B marketing roles. Demonstrated success in designing, writing, and executing lifecycle and growth programs that enhance activation, retention, and expansion rates. Experience collaborating with Demand Generation on acquisition-oriented initiatives. Strong copywriting and storytelling capabilities, simplifying complex ideas into engaging messages. Proficiency in marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.). Analytical mindset, curiosity, and a focus on experimental approaches to drive actionable outcomes. Enthusiasm for cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment. The estimated total cash compensation range for this role is $96,000-$120,000 USD.
