KPMG is looking for an Associate Director of AI Applications Engineering to be part of our Digital Nexus Technology organization. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement. Key Responsibilities: Lead a talented team of engineers in the design, development, and deployment of AI-powered applications utilizing .NET Core, C#, Python, and the latest frameworks. Shape the technical vision and roadmap while engaging in technology initiatives that integrate solutions with Azure, Google Cloud, and enterprise systems. Oversee the development of intelligent agents that interact with APIs and other applications through methods like A2A and MCP, ensuring effective integration alongside architects in creating solution designs and technical documentation. Establish coding standards and ensure high code quality through rigorous reviews, automated testing, and adherence to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC); champion DevOps and MLOps best practices. Investigate emerging technologies, recommend optimal solutions, and present ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Lead the resolution of operational issues and enhance performance efficiently. Uphold KPMG's values of integrity and professionalism to maintain a respectful and collaborative work atmosphere. Qualifications: At least 8 years of comprehensive technology experience, including a minimum of 5 years in leadership and 2 years of direct experience in implementing AI platforms and solutions for business impact, with strong proficiency in Python and cloud AI services such as Azure AI or Google AI. Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred; a high school diploma or GED is required. Experience with full-stack development, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js, Node.js, C#, and TypeScript. Significant experience with the Azure AI stack, AKS, API development, and robust DevOps practices. Expertise in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, BASH, YAML) and automation testing.
