Commercial Refrigeration Engineer/Technician

Our client, a leading organization in building maintenance and facility management, is seeking a Commercial Refrigeration Engineer/Technician to join their team. As a Commercial Refrigeration Engineer/Technician, you will be part of the Facilities Maintenance Department supporting operational excellence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Mobile Commercial Refrigeration Engineer Location: Cleveland, OH Pay Range: $41 to 43 a hour What's the Job? Operate, inspect, and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and production equipment in assigned facilities to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Perform preventive maintenance and respond to repair work orders on facility systems, minimizing downtime and ensuring safety standards are met. Conduct inspections of interior and exterior property areas, including walls, flooring, fixtures, roofing, and lighting, to identify and address issues proactively. Utilize CMMS systems such as Corrigo to document work performed and update work order statuses in real time. Maintain a valid state driver's license and be available for call-in work as needed to support facility operations. What's Needed? Universal CFC recovery certification (or within 90 days of employment). Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in building engineering, with a strong background in HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, and equipment repair and maintenance. Experience troubleshooting and maintaining commercial or supermarket refrigeration systems. Ability to study and familiarize oneself with various equipment and operational methods. Strong record-keeping skills and the ability to perform inspections and report findings accurately. What's in it for me?
