Advance solutions for using clean energy at a large-scale in New York. Enable New York's communities and residents to benefit equitably in the clean energy transition. Job Overview The Project Manager, Program Strategy and Design is responsible for supporting the Office of the Chief Program Officer with program strategy and design development across NYSERDA's full programmatic portfolio including through project management, strategic thinking and planning, change management, and maintenance of inventories and other tools. Primary Responsibilities The primary responsibility for the Project Manager/ RSO will be to implement the Radiation Protection Programs for: Maintain internal program inventories and other organizing tools, including for external use, through strong coordination with program teams. Develop and implement improved processes for tracking program statuses in a dynamic programmatic environment. Contribute to the development of NYSERDA's unified cross-portfolio strategy linking programs with State objectives. Contribute to the strategic streamlining and rationalization of programs and offerings across the NYSERDA portfolio by consolidating programs, launching new programs, or sunsetting programs, as needed. Co-develop improved program design processes and support change management and establishing infrastructure that promote the processes. Contribute to targeted cross-organizational, utility, and Board coordination including large portfolio-wide internal meetings, Board meeting preparations, utility leadership meetings, and other. Support efforts to establish program data and reporting standards, including those captured in platforms such as Salesforce and Tableau. Contribute to a team culture of openness and collaboration. Perform other responsibilities as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree and 5 years' experience Exemplary project management skills with the ability to set priorities, develop and execute a workplan, adapt to changing circumstances, and an action-bias. Demonstrated problem-solving ability with a proactive, analytical, and collaborative style. Exceptional organizational, time management and planning skills to successfully handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Perform all job responsibilities with respect, fairness, consistency, and inclusion. Ability and appetite to learn and assimilate new information and think holistically through complex problems with technical and non-technical components. Ability to work independently and cross-functionally with other teams. Track record for building effective partnerships, facilitating consensus-building among multiple stakeholders. Top-notch presentation and interpersonal skills that resonate with audiences of different backgrounds; the ability to communicate persuasively, concisely and unambiguously in speech and writing. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Preferred Qualifications Master's Degree and 4 years of experience.
