Help adults and geriatric patients regain independence through skilled inpatient rehab and stroke/TBI care. Job Details Location: El Paso, TX 79938 Setting: Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital (36 beds) Employment Type: Travel Contract / Travel OT Start Date: March 30, 2026 End Date: June 29, 2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (8 hour days) Hours per Week: 40 (Guaranteed) Scrub Color: Navy Blue Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,920-$2,060 per week Job Requirements / Qualifications Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license (valid in Texas or eligible for TX state licensure) Minimum 2 years of experience in an inpatient rehabilitation hospital or similar inpatient rehab setting Demonstrated experience working with adult and geriatric populations - stroke rehab, traumatic brain injury (TBI), orthopedics preferred Proficiency with ADL retraining, therapeutic exercise, adaptive equipment recommendations, splinting, cognitive retraining, and functional mobility Resume, skills checklist, and current license must be submitted with application Flu and COVID vaccinations required (declinations not accepted) Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality occupational therapy services to adult and geriatric patients recovering from severe injuries or illnesses Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on ADLs, functional independence, mobility, and quality of life Perform evaluations, discharge planning, adaptive equipment assessment, and caregiver training Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (PT, SLP, nursing, case management) to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care Document patient progress accurately and timely using the UDS EHR system Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and contribute to a positive rehabilitation culture Why Join Our Team / Location Highlights Work in a state-of-the-art 36-bed inpatient rehab hospital in vibrant El Paso, TX Gain experience in a high-quality inpatient rehabilitation program - ideal for OTs seeking travel assignments and inpatient rehab experience Enjoy El Paso's sunny weather, rich culture, affordable living, and welcoming community Ready to advance your OT career with meaningful inpatient rehab work in El Paso?
