Vice President of Valuation Management

We are currently seeking a dynamic Vice President of Valuation Management to lead our commercial appraisal review process within the bank and lending team. This role will oversee our valuation management division, playing a key part in the appraisal review process and guiding our talented team members. As a VP, you will engage in the review and analysis of final appraisals, executive summaries, and cash flows, while maintaining direct client interaction. Collaboration with Senior Directors will be essential in achieving efficient and accurate outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Drive the valuation review process, providing quality control and guidance to a team of valuation experts. Supervise workflow to ensure timely deliverables. Execute valuation reviews and client consulting engagements leveraging your organizational and technical skills. Communicate and coordinate effectively with market participants, clients, and team members. Thoroughly review third-party appraisal reports. Create comprehensive reviews, consulting reports, and other essential deliverables. Engage directly with clients to maintain strong relationships. Address and resolve non-compliance issues through effective communication with clients and relevant parties. Work independently on projects while also collaborating closely with team members. Act as engagement/client lead with daily communication with clients. Perform other additional duties as required by your manager. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 10+ years of experience in commercial appraisal is preferred. Certified General Real Property Appraiser License is required. Experience with the hotel property type is a plus. MAI designation is desirable or candidate status for MAI designation. Strong expertise in valuation practices. Proficient in MS Office Suite—Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Argus. The annual full-time base salary for this role ranges from $95,000 to $110,000. Compensation will be determined based on interviews as well as an assessment of education, experience, skills, geographic location, and market data alignment. Certain positions may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses based on program guidelines and management approval.
