OverviewThe Director of Resourcing, Marketing Studio is a senior leadership position responsible for the global strategic planning, allocation, and optimization of human capital within the Marketing Studio. Reporting to the Senior Director, Corporate Marcom Operations, this role provides high-level oversight of resource strategies to ensure the studio delivers high-quality work while maintaining optimal utilization and adhering to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).This leader manages the Creative Resource Managers and the Digital Traffic Management team, acting as a strategic conduit between studio leadership, functional leads, and project requirements to balance workloads and align global talent with organizational priorities.How you'll make an impactStrategic Leadership & Team ManagementDirectly lead, support, and mentor the Creative Resource Managers (CRMs) and Digital Traffic Managers (DTMs), fostering a collaborative culture of high performance and professional growth.Conduct regular performance reviews and one-on-one meetings to ensure the resourcing team is aligned with global Marcom goals and departmental strategies.Oversee hiring, training, and onboarding for the resourcing and traffic teams, collaborating with global Talent Acquisition teams and aligning to the Marketing Studio standards and processes.Serve as the primary escalation point for complex resourcing conflicts, workload imbalances, or studio/client risks that require high-level intervention.Oversee the operational management of external contractors for the Marketing Studio, collaborating with functional leads when project surges or FTE deficits require supplemental support and ensuring Gallagher's systems are used appropriately to track and manage contract start and end dates.Long-Term Strategic Resource PlanningLead long-term strategic resource planning for the global Marketing Studio, ensuring cross-functional talent-including creative, digital, and operations-is aligned with long-range business objectives and integrated campaign planning.Analyze global demand and capacity data to forecast future staffing needs, providing actionable insights to senior leadership regarding hiring, attrition planning, and workload forecasting.Utilize data, metrics, and reporting from Marcom systems (such as Workfront) to measure the success of resourcing strategies, defining areas for improvement to share with corporate marketing leadership.Identify critical gaps or areas of weakness within global collaboration models and work with leadership to implement solutions that enhance team performance and output.Optimization & Operational EfficiencyContinuously evaluate and partner with Marketing Studio functional leads to optimize resourcing strategies, workflows, and Marketing Studio processes to drive departmental efficiencies, increase performance and align on shifting business demands.Establish a continuous feedback loop with senior leadership and functional leads to refine resourcing models and ensure the studio remains responsive to project complexities.Governance & Data AnalyticsEstablish and enforce standardized resourcing guidelines in support of SLAs and best practices across all regions to ensure global unity and consistent delivery.Utilize Workfront and other Marcom systems to deliver comprehensive reports and metrics to leadership related to global utilization, project volume, and team effectiveness.Maintain the integrity of global process documentation as it relates to onboarding and training of the Global Resourcing team and resource mapping. About YouRequired: Bachelor's degree and 7 years related experience required.Highly Preferred:Experience: 10+ years of creative operations and/or resource management experience in a high-volume agency or corporate environment.Leadership: Proven track record of managing and mentoring people leaders of diverse, cross-functional teams.Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.Software Proficiency: Expert knowledge of project management software, with Adobe Workfront being a strong preference.Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the creative process, digital marketing workflows, and brand standards.Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with experience in proactively tailoring communications of complex strategies, change updates and data for both employee and executive leadership audiences.Skills & Attributes:Strategic & Unflappable: A proactive, solution-oriented critical thinker who can navigate complex and often opposing needs and remain calm under pressure.High Emotional Intelligence: Ability to build strong relationships and lead with empathy and cooperation.Forward-Looking: A mindset geared toward continuous improvement, with the ability to adapt management styles to the uniqueness of global projects.Language: Professional fluency speaking and writing in English Compensation and benefitsWe offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
