We are seeking a proactive Utilities Project and Contract Manager to enhance our utility accounts, focusing particularly on the Transmission & Distribution (T&D) sector. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of engineering and construction within the utility sector. We require substantial experience in project management, design, and business development. Knowledge of the Northeast utility and energy markets, along with a strong network of industry connections, will be a significant advantage. Key Responsibilities: Client Engagement & Framework Management Identify and secure new project opportunities through existing frameworks and contracts with utility clients. Collaborate with sales to develop account growth strategies that align with client requirements and organizational objectives. Represent the company at external conferences and networking events. Lead the creation of proposals, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations. Project Management & Delivery Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of T&D projects, ensuring compliance with scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including engineering, environmental, permitting, and construction management personnel. Manage project risks, changes, and maintain communication with stakeholders. Ensure adherence to utility standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices. Hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field (a Master's degree and PE license are preferred). Bring at least 10 years of experience in utility work, particularly in transmission and distribution. Show a proven track record in client-facing roles and business development. Demonstrate excellence in project management and leadership with Northeast utilities. Exhibit outstanding communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. Share a deep knowledge and passion for the utility market in the Northeast and beyond. Be familiar with utility standards, regulatory environments, and permitting processes.
