We are searching for a passionate Radiology and Interventional Technology Specialist who aligns with our mission to provide outstanding patient care. Job Summary and Qualifications Under the guidance of the Imaging Services Director or Manager, you will assist physicians in both diagnostic and interventional procedures while ensuring the smooth operation of the Imaging department. Responsibilities include the stewardship of resources and maintaining compliance with all regulations concerning quality patient care for all ages. As a vital team member, your responsibilities will entail: Performing radiological and interventional procedures promptly, ensuring accurate documentation and communication with the healthcare team. Coordinating patient care collaboratively with radiology staff, physicians, and nurses. Evaluating patient conditions to perform appropriate examinations. Informing patients about procedures and the expectations for their cooperation. Ensuring a safe and supportive environment for patient care. Confirming the availability and safe use of necessary clinical equipment and supplies. Maintaining knowledge of patient development across all life stages. Documenting Point of Care procedures accurately and complying with quality control standards. Demonstrating proficiency with all relevant equipment, including Fluoroscopy and digital acquisition systems. Acting as a circulator during procedures by managing supplies and adapting techniques as necessary. Troubleshooting basic equipment issues. Communicating effectively with physicians to optimize patient care and scheduling. Participating in statistical reporting and resource management. Engaging in staff development and maintaining your professional skills. Qualifications EDUCATION: Associate Degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program. EXPERIENCE: Entry-level candidates are welcome; preference for candidates with one to two years in an acute care setting. LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS: Current Medical Radiologic Technologist certification in Texas, ARRT certification, and Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
