Reporting to: AVP, Strategic Initiatives, Priority Business Department: Employee Benefits - Priority Business (PB) Location: Hartford, CT (Hybrid) or Remote (US) The Project Manager II, Strategic Initiatives is essential for executing and supporting PB's strategic agenda. This role requires translating high-level strategic objectives into actionable plans, ensuring that we maintain momentum and deliver results. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Strategic & Operational Support Translate the PB strategic direction into actionable plans, workstreams, and progress tracking tools. Design structured models, templates, trackers, and dashboards to facilitate project management. Oversee detailed project plans, identifying risks, dependencies, and timelines. Equip PB leadership with necessary data, research, and insights for informed decision-making. Analytical & Reporting Excellence Create and manage comprehensive dashboards for financial, sales, and operational metrics using advanced Excel skills. Conduct thorough competitor, market, and partner analyses to inform strategy. Extract insights and provide recommendations based on internal data and market intelligence. Maintain PB scorecards, KPIs, and critical data sets. Content Development & Communication Prepare polished executive-level PowerPoint presentations. Draft clear meeting summaries, action logs, and internal communications. Utilize Microsoft Copilot for efficient research and content synthesis. Cross-Functional Coordination Facilitate coordination of PB initiatives across teams in Strategy & Growth, Product, Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Technology. Support the planning and follow-up process for PB meetings and forums. Monitor progress on projects, identify gaps, and foster organizational alignment. Maintain up-to-date PB collateral and strategic materials. Program Support & Change Management Assist in documenting PB capabilities, processes, and customer journeys. Help develop and disseminate change-management resources. Collaborate with teams to ensure operational readiness of new offerings and integrations. Market Research & Thought Leadership Support Coordinate research initiatives on competitor platforms, broker insights, and HR technology advancements. Support the development of PB value propositions and internal training content. Assist the AVP in preparing for external engagements. Process Improvement & Operational Efficiency Identify areas for process enhancement and efficiency improvements. Create reusable templates and standard operating procedures. Work with PB functions to refine and document workflows. QUALIFICATIONS A minimum of 5 years of experience in Employee Benefits, insurance, consulting, or corporate strategy/operations. Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong PowerPoint skills. Experience with Copilot or similar AI tools. Exceptional organizational and project management skills. Outstanding communication capabilities. A Bachelor's degree is preferred or equivalent relevant experience. WORK ARRANGEMENT This position offers a Hybrid or Remote work schedule. Candidates located near one of our office locations are expected to work in-office three days a week (Tuesday through Thursday), while those located farther away will primarily work remotely but may need to come into the office as business needs dictate. Compensation The annualized base pay range for this role is $100,000 - $150,000. This range may vary based on factors like performance, proficiency, and the demonstrated competencies required for the position.
