We are looking for a Senior Water Resources Engineering Leader with significant technical experience in water resources and a strong commitment to mentoring and guiding colleagues. In this pivotal role, you will lead and innovate in diverse civil engineering projects across multiple sectors. Building collaborative relationships will be essential for your success. Primary Responsibilities: Develop and articulate the technical vision for the water resources discipline in partnership with the Water Technical Competency Leader. Establish and enhance discipline-specific standard work, training programs, and QA/QC systems. Lead the design and documentation of engineering projects encompassing storm water management, watershed planning, modeling, green infrastructure, and best management practices. Conduct detailed hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, drainage channel designs, erosion control, and floodplain modeling. Execute stream and wetland restoration designs and conduct water quality assessments. Prepare comprehensive technical reports for local, state, and federal agencies regarding water resources. Facilitate watershed and storm water management planning. Create design plans, specifications, and bid documents for storm water, drainage, and water quality construction initiatives. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. Licensed Professional Engineer (PE). A minimum of 10 years of experience in water resources as a project manager or technical lead within the engineering consulting sector. Proficiency in storm water modeling software (e.g., HEC-RAS, HydroCAD, XPSWMM, AutoCAD, MicroStation, HEC-HMS, ArcGIS). Willingness to travel 10-20% for client engagements and conferences. Preferred Qualifications: Certified Floodplain Manager Accreditation. At least 15 years of experience leading technical teams and managing hands-on engineering involving designs, reports, and feasibility studies for water resources projects. Experience with direct client interaction. The compensation for this position ranges from $130,000 to $160,000 annually, depending on factors such as experience, location, responsibility level, and licenses/certifications. In addition to base pay, Foth offers opportunities for bonuses through our Earned Performance Incentive program as well as On-the-Spot bonuses.
