About the Company Join a respected and innovative general contractor that is a leader in constructing structural components of wastewater treatment facilities. We focus on building essential infrastructure such as cast-in-place concrete, process basins, headworks structures, aeration/clarifier tanks, load-bearing foundations, equipment pads, structural retrofits, and comprehensive plant projects. Due to the increasing demand for the rehabilitation and new construction of wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs), we are excited to invite a Wastewater Structural Estimator to become part of our dynamic municipal division. Key Responsibilities Produce detailed takeoffs for critical structural components, including cast-in-place concrete, rebar, foundations, walls, and elevated slabs. Thoroughly review structural drawings, specifications, and geotechnical reports to identify items that could impact costs. Develop accurate pricing for labor, equipment, and materials essential for wastewater structure projects. Engage in collaborations with vendors and subcontractors concerning materials such as concrete, shoring, precast, steel, and coatings. Prepare competitive bid proposals for municipal and public works projects, including SRF and bond-funded initiatives. Requirements A minimum of 5 years' experience in heavy civil or wastewater structural construction. In-depth understanding of concrete forming systems, rebar installation, structural sequencing, and mass pours. Experience with public works, municipal bidding, and SRF-funded projects. Proficiency in software such as HCSS HeavyBid, B2W Estimate, Bluebeam Revu, PlanSwift, On-Screen Takeoff (OST), and MS Office. Educational background in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. A strong safety-conscious mindset along with a practical field-oriented approach.
