OVERVIEW Join our team as a Security Loss Prevention Agent and play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for both our employees and customers. Your presence will help deter loitering and prevent shoplifting, ensuring that Sheetz stores remain welcoming and safe spaces. RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned) Actively patrol and monitor the premises to discourage criminal activity and ensure the safety and security of the environment. Collaborate with store personnel to foster a safe environment for both customers and employees while supporting efforts to reduce company shrink. Regularly engage with local law enforcement to address area challenges, providing updates to the Loss Investigation Supervisor to enhance store security. Observe and report any safety and physical security concerns, completing all assigned tasks from the Loss Investigation Supervisor. Build positive relationships with all assigned Security Operations Center (SOC) and Loss Investigation Team (LIT) personnel. Create and maintain strong working relationships with all non-Sheetz security personnel. Ensure that each interaction reflects our commitment to Total Customer Focus. Assist with assigned loss investigation duties when directed. Proactively prevent shoplifting to keep Sheetz stores safe for everyone. QUALIFICATIONS (Equivalent combinations of education, licenses, certifications, and/or experience may be considered) Education High School Diploma/GED required Associate's Degree preferred Experience Minimum 2 years' experience in security, loss prevention, or related fields required.
